Founder James Chmelik is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Physiologist and through the Wellcoaches School as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. By tracking progress and health outcomes through the assessment process, we are able to increase participant engagement, enhance wellbeing and productivity.
With the numerous challenges in healthcare, the focus on preventative health and a proactive approach have never been more important. We have firsthand experience performing each aspect of the health improvement process, from the initial health risk assessment, conducting individual and group health coaching sessions, to seeing the finished product of a healthier and more productive individual and group.
We strive to identify and create conditions that lead individuals to a life of thriving and optimal performance at work and home.
We create and individualize wellness plans to include topics such as nutrition, exercise, mental/emotional health, and overall wellbeing. We work to identify clients not meeting their wellness goals and recommend the appropriate solutions, problem solving together in a way that helps the client stay on track.
Over the past 14 years we have performed thorough health risk assessments and analyzed data pertaining to each client and company. We re-assess clients on a consistent basis to determine changes in health and risk factors based on the initial assessment, and modify plans accordingly. In addition to structured 1:1 and group coaching, we help our clients improve quality of life for their employees by conducting educational seminars and structured wellness programs.
James has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and Health Education as well as a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology. He has been able to apply this knowledge in a variety of settings and through his education has had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, from Division 1 collegiate athletes to heart patients who needed increased monitoring with a plan for slow, careful progress.
James is confident that his education, gold standard wellness certifications, clinical exercise and nutrition experience, as well as his 14+ years in corporate wellness settings will allow him to help you improve your health, elevate your energy and be even more productive in your personal and professional life.
